the Oregon Coast. They are also the most dangerous for
ATVers. Steep hills, quicksand, and shifting winds make the area treacherous for
even the most experienced riders. There's a sense of wonder and beauty found on our dunes. A few miles south of "third beach" the dunes stretch for miles - a vast wonderland of isolation and peace. A great playground for those adventurous enough to experience them.
The wind blows and the sands shift - and the dunes are ever changing. Where there was a hill one day - has become a bowl the next. And there lies the danger. No one can ever know the dunes. They are mysterious and unknowable.
